Student Profiles: Gunnar Plunkett and Michelle Essien
Congratulations to two more of our recent graduates!
Gunnar Plunkett is an outstanding student from Murrieta Valley High School. He was accepted Early Action to Harvard as well as regular admission to Stanford for the Class of 2020. Gunnar is an exceptional student with strong participation and awards in Vex Robotics and cross country at his school. He was captain of the Murrieta Youth Soccer League and president of the French Club, and has enjoyed teaching youngsters how to surf and play soccer. Gunnar will be attending Harvard in the fall.
Centennial High School student, Michelle Essien, received acceptances from Stanford, MIT, Columbia, Cornell and the University of Chicago. Besides being an outstanding student, she is a Level 10 pianist and a member of the National Piano Guild. Her many accomplishments include starting a hospice club at her school, Junior State of America involvement and leadership, and Medical Honors Society Vice President. Michelle was also selected to be part of the prestigious Bank of America Student Leaders Program. She will be attending Stanford in the fall.
Both of these outstanding students have something in common. They each received coaching in all areas of the college process, including strategizing activities and testing, application help, essay editing and completion of FAFSA and CSS Profile financial aid documentations.
