Summer Internships

Summer Internships

One of the most valuable experiences you can have as a student during the summer is an internship. An internship is a pre-professional experience that provides an opportunity to gain relevant knowledge and skills that you can use for the rest of you life. Having an internship can:

  • show you what the “working world” is really like
  • teach you specific vital skills like time management and computer skills
  • help you choose a major
  • inspire a possible career choice
  • connect you with experienced people in the “working world” who can mentor you and give great advice

If you are interested in having a summer internship, there are many avenues to go about finding the internship right for you. According to Penny Lovetto, here is a list of websites you can research that may just have the ideal internship.
